The Mane Choice Heavenly Halo

Hello ladies and welcome back i am here to give you a review on the new Mane Choice Heavenly Halo Line. This line is made to give your strands intense hydration. So if your hair is dry and needs some moisture you may want to check out this line it may be just what you need.

First i will be starting with the Pre-Poo now i am a pre-poo lover. I pre-poo my hair EVERY single wash day. So when i seen this line carried a pre-poo i knew it would be the first thing i would grab. Now with this the directions say to apply to dry hair. Now i've seen some people didn't like the pre-poo and they did use it on dry hair. But i loved the pre-poo and the reason why i think i loved it, was because i did not use it on dry hair. Whenever i pre-poo my hair i ALWAYS dampen my hair with some water before applying my oils and conditioner. So with this product it was no different. And i think that it made all the difference. One i applied it to my hair my curls instantly started to pop. And it melted right into my hair it was so easy to detangle with my fingers. This product is infused with hydration oils such as Umutanga Oil, Palmarosa Oil, Yashtimadhu Root, Yucca Root, and Burdock Root Oil. This is a must buy product if you are not into pre-poo's or have never pre-poo'd before you should definitely check this one out. I promise you won't be disappointed. And if you have tried this out and did not like it i suggest trying it on damp hair it may work out better for you.

Next up is the Shampoo and with this product it claims to thoroughly cleanse hair without stripping, drench dry thirsty hair and deliver instant moisture to your strands. This is actually the 2nd shampoo that i really like. The first one is also from the Mane Choice its from the easy on the curls line. This shampoo did cleanse my hair really well and it did not strip my hair at ALL which is a big plus. It did give me some good moisture, and it had an ok amount of slip. I would like for it to have a little more, but its a shampoo so it's cool. If you are having trouble finding a good shampoo that is not stripping i suggest you check out this one to see if you may like it, or the easy in the curls one. I will definitely keep repurchasing this shampoo once i run out.

Now onto the conditioner now let me just tell you one thing. I love me a good conditioner that has amazing slip and this right here oh baby. This conditioner once applied to my hair i knew i would love it. It has a nice thickish consistency and the smell is amazing. It kind of reminds me of fruity pebbles cereal. Also a little goes a long way. Normally i OD on conditioner to make sure my hair is really moisturized but with this one i didn't have to so much. So if a product that provides a good slip really moisturizes your hair and you don't have to use too much will forever be in my product stash lol. This one is a must try!!!

After i showered and rinsed out the conditioner i applied the Mask to deep condition. This mask is a little runny the consistency is not so thick. Now out of everything so far i was not really feeling this one. And i love me some deep conditioner so i was really upset. I wanted to really love it since everything so far was A1. But i couldn't once i applied it to my hair it had a nice slip and it will aid in detangling your hair and coat your strands. It smells really good the whole line does. But once i rinsed it out my curls were not popping my hair did not really feel moisturized it just looked as if i just shampooed it, there was little to no definition. To me if a deep conditioner works your hair should be feeling moisturized, looking good and your curls should be popping. But unfortunatly mine were not so i will not be repurchasing this deep conditioner.

Lastly is the Softening milk i never used any milks in my hair so i was excited to try this one. I loved that it had a pump to use so you wouldn't lose any product. It is pretty thick to be a milk in my opinion, when i hear milk i think creamy and a little runny for some odd reason lol, and this is definitely not. Directions say to apply to freshly cleansed hair for maximum hydration, nourishment and manageability. I don't think this product is considered to be a leave in, in my opinion. I used it as my cream in the LCO method. For my leave in i applied another Mane Choice product its from the easy on the curls line 3 in 1 conditioner. After applying that i applied the softening milk and it melted right into my hair i loved it. But i did have to apply a pretty good amount to get my hair really moisturized. I finished twisting up my hair and couldn't wait for the take down the following day.

Now fast forward to the next day i unraveled my twists and they looked pretty good. I was happy with my results. Now once i got to the 2nd day of my twists the moisture was long gone. I still had some ok definition but my hair was really dry. I do not touch my hair at all during the week. Thats why on wash day i like to get my hair really moisturized so it will last me a week until my next wash day. But this product did not last me at all. I may try it again maybe with a different leave in i doubt i will ever try it alone. Or maybe i might try it to refresh my hair during the week if my hair ever gets to dry. But i do know for sure i would not repurchase this product either.

So that is my review on the Mane Choice Heavenly Halo line i did purchase everything but the oil mist from this line. Some of the products i would recommend and other i wouldn't. But aways remember that what may or may not work for me may or may not work for you. Everything has a different effect on everyones hair. Its all about experimenting, it's all about trial and error.
